3v3 Airpitch Tournament Rules

GAME RULES:

-Two twelve-minute halves 

 

-2 minute half times

 

 -Regular kickoffs after goals 

 

-Goals cannot be scored from defensive half 

 

-No team can touch the ball if inside player or ball the Goal Box. Only on initial goal kicks

-If the ball is touched by offensive player in the box, it is a goal kick.

​

-If the ball is touched by defensive player in the box, it is an automatic goal.

 

-If ball stays still inside goal box, goal kick is awarded regardless of last team to touch it

 

-Back up rule- if ball is wedged in the side of the pitch the team with possession gets a restart from the spot 

 

-Purposely wedging the ball will result in a free-kick for the other team

 

-Shoulder-to-shoulder is not allowed near and around the walls of play

 

-Any push or shove of opposing players into the walls will result in a foul.

 

-All freekicks, kick-ins, goal kicks are indirect except Penalty Kicks

-4 second restart once the ball has been placed on the ground

 

-No sliding 

 

-Any major goal scoring opportunity (fouls/handballs/slide to prevent goal) is a midfield open goal penalty kick.

 

-Ball is live once penalty-kick is taken

 

-Defensive player must stand at least 10 feet (3 steps) away from any restart in play (free kicks, kick-ins, goal kicks)

 

-If there is a free kick near the box, the ball will be placed at least 10 feet from the penalty box.

 

-If the ball goes out of bounds over the wall, the opposing team has a kick in from where the ball went out.

SUBSITUTES:

-Subs are roll-on roll-off while game is in play. Player must be off the field before the substitute can come on. The game is not stopped for subs.  

 

SUSPENSIONS: 

-Dangerous and reckless fouls will result in a mandatory sub for the player for the rest of the game at the referee’s discretion

 

PROTESTS: 

-No protests will be allowed.
